Messrs Abraham and W illiam. , Limited report on b'eilding sale as Joi - j lows:—Owing no doubt to it being tShow week in I’almerston North only a small entry came forward to this fixture. There was a small attendance ot buyers, ’.rhe fat sheep, ewes and weth ers especially sold well. The fat. lambs were not quite up to the usual stand ard fur quality and prices fur these were down accordingly. Fat cattle pens wore fairly well tilled and good quality cattle sold well al late rates. Store cattle were on a par with previous sales. Dalgety and Co. Ltd. report on the sales of the week as under:— There was a fair yarding of stock at their Taihape sale on Wednesday, 17th. instant. Sheep met with keen competition, cattle were not in much demand. Cull lambs, 4s; small lambs. 5s fid, 3s 7d, 6s fid; b.f. lambs, 10s Id; mixed lambs, 10s lid; small 2-tooth wethers, 10s IOd; 2-year steers, £3 10s; light fat bullocks, £6 Bs. There was a moderate yarding of sheep and small entry of cattle at their Mangaweka sale, on Thursday, 18th. instant, when sheep sold readily. Wether lambs 7s 4d. 7s lOd, 9s, 9s 2d, 9s 3d; m.a. ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 7s, 7s JOd, Bs. 10y fid. There was a small yarding of sheep and cattle at their Feilding sale on Friday, 19th. instant. Fat. lambs were easier and prices were linn for grown sheep. With the exception of fat cattle, there was practically no de- i maud. Fat lambs. 10s, Ils, 12s 6d, to Jss 3d; fat ewes, 12s 3d; small wether lambs, 6s 7d forward ewes, 9s fid; 2-tooth ewes r.w.
