BRUTAL ROBBERY
WORKER’S WAGES STOLEN. [ Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, June 20. A man walking home with his wages in his pocket was brutally assaulted am* robbed in New Lynn at about 7 o ’clock last night. Tho man, Harry Davis, aged 60, who is employed by the Public Works in the country, was within 100 yards of his home when he was attacked by two men from behind. One dragged him on the footpath on his face while the other stole £l6.
