Woods was next prominent, beating three men and passing for Garner to finish a tine effort by scoring close in. A good run by Gillon was nearly successful, Upton squaring the pass for Killeen to hit the cross-bar. Fast, fluctuating play, during which both Scott and Wilson had to save their charges, ended when Curtis took advantage of a slip by the loval defence and beat Scott with a good shot. Eastbrooke 5? Flock House 4. Tho local team had the beyt of matters from then till tho Inal whistle went, the game ending: Eastbrooke 5: Flock House 4. Mr Telford controlled the game, which was played in the sporting manner usual in the games between these teams. JUNIORS’ MATCH EASTBROOKE 3; WOOLEN MILLS 0 This was a well-deserved win, the young, light team showing more knowledge of the Iner points of the game and having much better ball control than their heavier opponents. Territorially tho Mills had nearly as much of the game as their opponents, but lacked finish. Tho goals wore scored by Taylor (2), and Wilson. Mr Bert Phillips was the referee.
