THE RAETIHI SALE. I Messrs Freeman R. Jackson and Co., Ltd., report on their fortnightly sale held at Ractihi on Friday, as follows: ' We penned tin offering of 700 sheep ami over 100 cattle. Sheep sold well up to late values tutd in some cases showed an improvement. Cattle were soinewhtu hard to quit. We disposed of the whob of the sheep offering and the bulk of the cattle. We quote.’ AI.A. wethers 13s 4, 2-tooth wethers 10s 6d. smaller 9s 10s. f.m. ewes in lamb S.D. 9s to 9s 6(1, culls ss. f.m. ewes r. Romneys 9s, m.s. lambs 7s 2d, medium ewe lambs 9s, small 6s 2d. small wether lambs 4s 2d. Cattle: Well-grown 20-mouth Hereford cross heifers £2 Gs 6d. smaller ditto 365, 20-monlh P. . cross heifers 365, mixed I coloured heifers 25s THE FEILDING SALE, i Dalgety and Company Ltd. report having a small yarding of sheep ami cattle at their Feilding sale on Friday. Fat lambs were easier and prices were firm for grown sheep. With the exception of fat cattle, there was practically no demand. Quotations. —Fat lambs, 10s, Ils, 12s 6d, to 15s 3d; fat ewes, 12s 3d; small wether lambs, 6s 7d- forward ewes, 9s 6d; 2 tooth ewes r.w. S.D. rams, 13s 6d; springing cows, £5 10s, £6. £6 10s, £7; empty cows, 255, 30s, 355; fat cows, £4 ss. j £4 15s, £5, £5 2s 6d, £5 10s.
