FLOODS ON EAST COAST
GOVERNOR’S CAR HELD UP. [ Per Press Association. ] GISBORNE, June 18. All service cars on the northern route are held up by flooded streams this morning. The Governor-General’s party who spent the night at Motu is unable to reach Gisborne by road. Arrangements are being made to send a special train to Motuhora to bring them in.
