Hospital Economies At yesterday’s meeting of the Wan ganui Hospital Board it was decided that a committee should be set up to consider stipendiary and honorary medical staff. Air Christensen, who mo'.ed the motion, said that they had been considering the small things, whether some accounts should be written off. and they should also consider the big things. Power Board’s Service. Complaints were voiced at the meeting of the Wanganui executive of the Farmers*’ Union, about the breakdowns of tho electric power in the country. The question was asked as to whether a complaint should be made to the Power Board. Tho milking season was approaching. and it was inconvenient to have breakdowns occurring when the season was i full swing. It was ‘*d out that at the present time it was usual for the Power Board to cary out repairs and reorganisation of lines, and to clear trees. Air Howie said he had a very high opinion of the Power Board, anil if he was ever in trouble with the power he had only to ring them and they would send a man out to remedy tho trouble. He had always found them most, courteous people to deal with, and he believed in giving credit where it was due.
