BAYONETS AS CONDUCTORS
Lightning recently struck the bay oncts of two soldiers in military exercises nt Nyireghyhaza, in Hungary. Both men were instantly killed. When an oil-boring tower at Bevern, near Hamburg, was struck by lightning tin overseer was killed and three workmen seriously injured. Children in a. circus at Schlioben, | near Hallo, were paniy-stricken when | lightning struck the tower and set a rhure.h on fire. The circus people sue ce«sfully fought the flames.
