WEATHER FORECAST
General situation.—A shallow depression has crossed the North Island since {Sunday night and another one is situated over the central Tasman Sea. An anti-cyclone now covers the greater part of Australia. Forecast.— Winds: Light to moderate and variable, but northerlies prevailing and freshening somewhat later, veering to southerlies in the south. Seas (N.Z. waters): Generally moderate. Eastern Tasman Sea: Moderate to fresh northerly winds and moderate seas, later changing to southerlies. Weather: Mainly fair at first, but cloud and mist developing in most districts.
