ENGLISH COINS COME HOME
In Switzerland has been found a little hoard of coins of Edward tho Elder. A similar find was made in Nome about half a century ago, and it is believed that English teoins of the period following Alfred found their way to the Continent as tribute to the Pope.
After ten centuries the coins discovered in Switzerland have come home. They will think England has mweh improved in its treatment of money, for instead of being thrust hig-gledy-piggledy into a dark bag they have been carefully sot out side by side in a nice glass case. They belong to the British Museum.
