BALLOON BREAKS LOOSE
CHURCH SPIRE DAMAGED NEARBY HOUSES EVACUATED PARIS, June 12. An extraordinary incident in the French Air Force manoeuvres at Toulta occurred when a captive balloon escaped and drifted over the village of Bal ma. The guy ropes became entangled in a church spire and tho strain caused it to crack extensively. It is in imminent danger of collapse and the evacuation of all neighbouring houses has been ordered.
