ESPIONAGE CHARGES
RUMANIAN TRIALS CONCLUDE SENTENCES OF IMPRISONMENT Received June 14, 5.5 p.m. BUCHAREST, June 14. The trial has concluded of many persons charged with espionage on behalf of Russia. The principal accused, Major Varzaru, was sentenced to 20 years’ imprisonment with military degradation. Five others were sentenced to 15 years and seven were acquitted.
