Palmerston North Borough Chamber of Commerce recently. The letter point- , cd out that many workers and wageearners had suffered reductions in their earnings, and had found it difficult to afford medical aid. It .as suggested that the 10s consultation fee ,I should be reduced to ss. The following resolution was pass- , ed: “That the Chamber ask the Associated Chambers to consider the admisability of approaching the British Medical Association with a view to . arranging a reduction in medical fees. ’' h was further decided to circularise i all Chambers advocating co-operation.
