FALSE PRETENCES
YOUNG MAN CHARGED [ Per Press Association. 1 DUNEDIN, June 11. At the Police Court, John McCulloch Forsyth, aged 25. was charged with obtaining £2O by falsely stating that he was in a position to employ a motor driver and was prepared to pay £2O: also with at Christchurch obtaining £l5 by falsely representing that he ha 1 a grain carrying business at Rangiora. Accused advertised in a newspaper cff ering employment of driving a truck for £2O and obtained that amount from an applicant. He was remanded for inquiries to be made at Christchurch.
