MARRIED WOMEN TEACHERS [ F-cr Press Association. ] WELLINGTON, May 13. Whether married women should be employed in State schools while there were single women who were out of employment, was discussed by the New Zealand Educational Institute at its annual meeting to-day. After a long debate it was resolved that a strong protest be made against any proposal to discriminate between married and single women, in making appointments the best available teacher to be appointed.
