Duncan, who automatically ceases to b« a member following his retirement from the Harbour Board after IS yea-s’ service as chairman, wns present by invitation of the chairman of the Trust. Board. Mr W. .1. Moffatt moved placing on record high appreciation of the ?alnable services rendered by Mr Duncan as one of the original trustees from 191.» fo 1921. and a. member of the* Trust Board from 1925 to 1931, including several years as chairman, lie had always given, dose attention foal! matters pertaining to scientific research, and it was with great regret, that the board had lost, the membership of Mr Duncan.
