POSITION UNCHANGED HOBART, May 12. There is no material change ‘in the positions of candidates following the counting of the outstanding votes and postal votes. The state of parties is unchanged. The Lender of the Federal Opposition (Mr J. A. Lyons) said that he was pleased at the Nationalist victory in Tasmania, because it showed clearly that Tasmania would have nothing to do with fiduciary currencies or policies of repudiation. “Tasmania is the first State tha l has had the opportunity of expressing its opinion through the ballot box on the question of sound measures or currency inflation,’’ said the Queensland Premier (Mr Moore). “The decision of the people of Tasmania is of national significance. ’’ The Loader of the South Australian Opposition (Mr Butler) said that the swing to the Nationalists in Tasmania is more than anything else a vote of no confidence in the Scullin Govern nient in his opinion.
