♦ DEFENDANTS BEFORE COURT The following cases w-rc dealt with at tho Magistrate’s Court at Wanganui, yesterday. G. J. Billinghurst for speeding ovei an intersection was fined £3 with costs 16s. For driving at a speed that might be dangerous to the public, Ed. J. Baker was fined £2 with costs 13s, an<» witness’ expenses 10s. P. Coleman and M. Barauria were charged with failing to notify the Deputy Registrar of a sale of a motor cycle within seven days. 8. J. Rekowski was charged with failing to obtain an endorsed certificate. A fine of £1 wirn costs was imposed on Coleman and Harauria and Rekowski was fined 101 with costs. B. Wadey, who displayed a poster on a lamp post, was ordered Io pay costs. Inspector Fear said he did not ask for a penalty as the case was brought as a warning. E. J. O’Mahoney was charged with allowing a horse to wander on No. * Line, and was ordered to pav costs £1 Os 6d. J. Phillips, for driving at night with only one headlight, was fined £1 with
