LAMB AND MUTTON FIRMER GOOD DEMAND IX .LONDON' Lamb market: Very active, ami prices show solid advance for the week, market closing very firm; consumption excellent. Mutton market: Wethers and ewes firm ami prices have advanced in sympathy with lamb. Beef: Market is overloaded with chilled beef, and frozen beef depressed. New Zen land porker pigs: Consumption falling off, but stocks are light; market keeps firm. New Zealand baconer pigs: Nominal prices.
