EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETS At an informal meeting of tho Junior Beform League, it was decided to hold the next general meeting on Wednesday, May 27, and that it shonlo take the form of a social evening in the Druids’ Hall. After tho ordinary meeting, the evening will bo devoted to vocal items and dancing and probably an impromptu debate. Members will be charged Is to defray expenses and ladies will provide supper. The South Afakirikiri school pupils have collected £1 17s for the earthquake relief fund; a good result on the part of the youngsters. M.U., 1.0.0. F. LOYAL MARTON LODGE The fortnightly meeting of the above lodge was held on Friday evening, a good attendance being presided over by N.G. Bro. J. Windleburn. One new member was proposed. It

was reported that two members were on the sick list, both making good pro gross. Accounts totalling .CIS lus were passed for payment. Correspondence dealt, with includeo invitations from Rangitikei Lodge, Mangnweka, and A ietoria Diamono Lodge, Levin, to attend the insinuation of officers. Nominations were received by the N.G. for oflicers to till t ,e chairs for the ensuing term, ami further nomi nations will bo received next lodge night, before the elections. The lodge closed at 8 p.m. and a debate was he! between teams from the lodge and th .Junior Reform League, which occupies the evening to a late hour. (Continued on Page 12).
