BRIDE’S GOWN FROM JAPAN
One of London’s few Alarch brides — Miss Rosemary Elizabeth Noble, elder i daughter of Sir John and Lady Noble, ■ of Ardkinglas, Argyllshire, was married at St. George’s. Hanover Square, in a beautiful wedding gown which hails from Japan. It was fashioned in England, on graceful moulded lines, » bat the exquisitely soft silk crepe from which it was made, was woven and embroidered in the land of the cherr| tree and brought home by Lady Nob/ from the East some time ago. The lovely ivory surface, of the crepe looked as if it had been powdered lightly all over with the feathery blossoms of th” plum tree, so delicate is the sitchof the native workers who chose this design with which to embellish the soft richness of the material.
