RACE ON PARAMATTA RIVER A FINE CONTEST WITNESSED Received Mav 10, 5.5 p.m. SYDNEY, May 10. The great public school gala on the Parramatta River resulted in the Church of England Grammar School winning the Champion Eights in :> gruelling race and heading the river from Sydney High School. St. Joseph’s College was third. It was one of the finest races in the history of this competition. There were margins of six feet and a canvas ar the finish. King’s School also rowed well.
