HAURAKI SEAT
GOVERNMENT’S DECISION | Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON. May 9. The Government has decided to contest the Hauraki seat. The selection of a candidate will be announced bv the Auckland provincial executive of the United Party. MR ALLAN CHOSEN I Per Press Association. I AUCKLAND, May 9. After delegates had conferred this morning they announced the United Party’s candidate for the Hauraki seat —Mr B. Ebenezer Allan. This makes four candidates, the others being Messrs Petrie (Labour). Massey (Reform), and Ross (Country Party).
