The match I though it. dragged a little in tho opening stages, swept up and down tho field in tho second spell, tho lighter side playing with an inspiration that brought back a breath of that olden day barracking of Spriggens Park. Rugby seemed charged with a now lease of life as a game, which was so appealing to the sporting senses of the crowd, fluctuated first in favour of one side and then the other. Kaierau tried with all the strength at their command to pen tho black and whites down by virile ’ forward rushes, but just, whsmatters would seem hopelessly forlorn for the other side, the defending pack, led by Signal and Tasker, would come back into the Kaierau defences with :» f determination that was good to see.
