NAVAL WHALER CAPSIZES

TWO MEN IN HOSPITAL. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Dec. 14. Ten ratings and two petty officers of the Royal Naval Volunteers Reserve had an unenvaible experience on Saturday afternoon, when a naval whaler they were sailing capsized and threw them into the harbour off the northern end of Pipitea wharf. They were picked up by two launches that went to their aid. Alost of them were suffering from exposure and immersion in the cold sea water, two so much so that it was deemed desirable to remove them to the Wellington Hospital. Their names arc Chief Petty Officer A. B. Cox (naval instructor) and Leading Seaman Kenneth Buck (clerk).
