YOUNG SOLICITOR ARRESTED
ABOUT TO SAIL FOR AMERICA 1 Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Dec. 4. Brian Dunningham, a young Auckland solicitor, who was arrested as he was about to sail from Wellington for San Francisco on Tuesday afternoon, appeared before Air Hunt, S.M., at the Police Court. Accused, for whom Air Finlay appeared, was charged with aiding and abetting a man and woman in making a declaration that would amount to perjury if made on oath in a judicial proceeding. The Crown solicitor obtained a remand until December 11. Accused’s bail was renewed.
