AID FOR DISABLED MAN [ Per Press Association. ) AUCKLAND, Doe. 4. Both a Fairey seaplane which brought prompt medical assistance, and the cruiser Dunedin played a part yesterday in aiding Trevor W,ilson, a seaman, who was injured at midday on Great Barrier Island and who was brought to Auckland. aged .18, received severe injuries to his left arm and back through being eaught in a winch while loading firewood on to a scow. The owners, on being advised by telegram of the accident, sent a doctor in a seaplane and arranged for the Naval East to wireless the Dunedin (at manoeuvres in the Gulf) to pick up Wilson and transport him to Auckland. He was taken to hospital in the evening and is progressing favourably but it is likely that a hand will be amputated.
