MR OSCAR GARDEN
ASHBURTON WELCOME [Per Pres* Association.] ASHBURTON, Dec. 2. A largo gatch ring greeted Mr Oscar Garden on his arrival en route to the south. An official welcome was extended by the Mayor, the County Chairman and Mr D. Jones, M.P. Mr Gardea was entertained at lunch by the Aero Club. The ‘plane Kia Ora was escorted from Christchurch by five others. He leaves for Oamaru at 1.30 p.m., Captain Haigh accompanying him.
ARRIVAL AT DUNEDIN

DUNEDIN, Dec. 1.
Oscar Garden arrived at tho Otago Aero Club’s ground at 6.30 p.m., and was welcomed by Mr H. E. Barrowclough, president of the club, and the Deputy-Mayor (Mr J. J. Clark). He expressed pleasure at being once agaia in Dunedin, where he had first settled in New Zealand, living hero for 4x months before going north.
