STRONG JAPANESE DEMAND Received Dec. 2, 9.20 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 2. At the wool sales the market was very firm, with good general competition. The outstanding feature was the strong buying on Japanese account. Greasy Alerino made 23id. OFFERING AT PERTH PRICES DOWN 5 PER CENT Received Dec. 2, 11.35 p.m. PERTH, Doc. 2. At the wool sales 20,000 bales were offered, including many choice clips. Good clearances were made and competition was fairly well distributed. Values wore down five per cent, compared with former sales. The best price was 14d.
