GARDEN PARTY
To further the great work of the riunket Society, the Plunkct nurses and friends have arranged to hold a garden party at the Stewart Karitanc Home on Saturday, December 13. Bc!fides a sweet stall and ice cream and soft drink booth, there will be plain and fancy sewing and produce stalls and strawberries and cream. An added attraction will be a visit from Father Christmas, items by the Girl Guides, flag drill, folk dancing in costume an 1 putting competitions. It is hoped that all interested —this includes fathers as well as mothers —in the fine work done to help the babies, will make a point of attending the party. In the event of a wet day, arrangements have been made to hold the function at the Victoria League rooms.
