FOUND IN GARDEN

BLENHEIM, Dec. 2. I Yesterday two ladies working in a Picton garden had their attention drawn to a box thrown on an ash heap. I Investigation revealed a newly-born female child crying lustily. Theinfant was taken to hospital, where it is do- | ing well. The police are endeavouring to trace the mother.
