OFFENDERS DEALT WITH Judgment for plaintiffs by default was given in the following civil cases heard by Al r J. H. Salmon, S.M., at a sitting of the Magistrate’s Court at Wanganui yesterday:—Foster’s Hotel v. J. Rutherford, £4O 17s 6d; A. Guth rie v. W. R. Bennett, £6 12s 6d; J. P. Reynolds v. J. Old £l4 15s; C. F. and E. A~ Milward v. Thomas H. Bostock. £4 0s sd; Dustins Ltd. v. E. Ward, £4 Ils 6d; N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co. v. James Cooper, £23 15s: Wanganui Fresh Food Co. v. A. V. W. Waitford, £5 2s 6<l. Judgment Summonses R. Bennett was proceeded against under a judgment summons and was ordered to pay Graham and Reed the sum of £ll lb’s 9(1, in default 12 days’ imprisonment. G. H. Bate was ordered to pay the Wellington District Plumbers’ Union £4 3s 6d, in default four days’ imprisonment.
G. Cutelli was fined £-0 for being in a state of intoxication while in charge of a motor car on Alonday evening.
