LAND ARMAMENTS
DISCUSSION AT GENEVA. BRITISH RESOLUTION UPHELD. GENEVA, Nov. 14. After the Russo-Italian and German amendments were defeated, the committee carried by .16 to 3 the British resolution favouring a budgetary limitation of land war material, while recognising that certain members preferred specific enumeration and others a combination of both methods.
Germany, Italy and Russia opposed the motion. Bulgaria, China, America, Sweden, Turkey and Venezuela did nut vote.
