SOCIAL EVENING.
The committee of the Parents Association of Queen’s Park School entertained members and their friends at a social evening in the school on Tnesdav. Items were rendered by the tollowing:—Song, Miss Gwen Gilbert; dance, Miss R. Wright; recitatun Miss Zelda Watts; Spanish dance, Misses Gilbert; song, Mrs Atkinson; tap-dance, Miss Wright and Mr G. s 0 Mr J. A. Comric; Irish jig. Miss Gilbert, and son, Mrs E. Buller. Encores were demanded in each case. Mrs Atkinson also sang, by special request, ‘‘Loch Lomond and You.” After supper the young people enjoyed themselves dancing both old and new dances. Altogether a most enjoyable time was spent by all present and it is to be hoped that more of these social evenings will be held amongst the parents and friends of the school.
