MATCH AT MELBOURNE RYDER'S TESTIMONIAL CHANCELESS CENTURY TO HARRIS Received Nov. 14. 11.35 p.m. MELBOURNE, Nov. 14. The cricket match between the Australian eleven sfhd Ryder’s team for Ryder’s testimonial, began in wintry weather. Ryder’s team in the first innings had scored 267 for the loss of six wickets when stumps were drawn. The opening pair gave the side a good start, adding 82 at the rate of over a run a minute. Harris went on to compile a chanceless century. He was confident against all bowlers. Rain caused several stoppages. The attendance was about six thousand. Scores were as follows. — Ryder’s Eleven.
