BURGLARS AT ELTHAM
TWO BUSINESSES ROBBED [ Per Press Association. ] ELTHAM, Nov. 1. Last night the premises of Vclvin and Gyde, grocers, and G. H. Mann, wine and spirit merchants, wore entered by burglars and stock and cash’taken from both places. Entry was made by smashing a panel in tho front door in each case. At the grocers’ shop 22s 6d was taken from the till, but the safe was not disturbed. Mr Mann lost over a dozen bottles of spirits and a few pounds from the till.
