DOMINION BUTTER
THE BRITISH INQUIRY. NEED FOR MARKING ORDER LONDON, Oct. 31. At the butter inquiry, Mr J. R. King (Australian Dairy Produce Board) gave evidence that 50 per cent, of the Australian butter coming here was used for blending. This was very much against the interests of the producer, as his butter was worthy of being sold as such on its owm quality. Mr H. Davis (New Zealand Dairy Board) said that a marking order for imported butter must necessarily help the sale of Empire butter because of the goodwill which has been established for Empire products.
