GIFTS TO SOUTH AFRICA THE ROBINSON COLLECTION CAPE TOWN, Oct. 31. Sir Joseph Robinson’s collection of old masters presented to the South African Art Gallery by his daughter, the Countess of Labia, includes two Rembrandts, ten Gainsboroughs, four Reynolds, four Romneys, seven Bouchers, one Fra Angelice, and a Delsarta, of a total value estimated at £500,000. PICTURES ONLY LOANED Received Nov. 2. 8.10 p.m. CAPETOWN, Nov. 1. The Robinson pictures are only loaned to the Art Gallery. Sir James’ daughter is creating a trust to provide for the insurance of the pictures.
