EX-AGENT FACES TRIAL

The Times Helsingfors correspondent states that during the trial of Erzinkian ex-Soviet commercial representative, on a charge of issuing spurious bills, the accused counsel produced a remarkable declaration signed by eight ex-Soviet representatives abroad, including Bessedovsky and Dmitriviesky, stating, in favour of Erzinkinian, that Soviet legations and trade delegations have secret chancelleries controlled by the Cheka, where all secret accounts are kept non-admissable to other officials.
Dmitrievsky, ex-Councillor of the Soviet Legation at Stockholm, states that the Cheka annually spends 600,000 marks for secret purposes in Finland. The Communist Intern at ion" I spends several millions. The Cheka is paying special attention to F’nland because it considers it one of the countries which will shortly be ripe for revolution. Soviet Legations at Berlin and Stockholm have purchased arms for Finnish Communists.
