“NUREMBERG EGGS.” The earliest watches date from the 15th Century, their manufacture being in Germany. They were originally small clocks with main springs, included in boxes. Sometimes they were in globular form and were called “Nuremberg Eggs.” A far remove those early timepieces from Rolex I watches which are the modern World’s a Best for faithful fime-keeping accuracy.—Advt.
