Alisa Harbour, of Dannevirke, is visiting Wanganui. Miss M. Walkington, of Waverley, was a visitor to Wanganui for race week. Miss M. Washer, of Hawera. is visiting Wanganui. Miss Mavig Jarvie has returned to her home on St. John’s Hill from a long holiday in Australia. Mrs McCally, of Palmerston North, visited Wanganui for race-week. Mrs D. Lilburne has returned to Wanganui from several weeks' 7 holiday spent in Dunedin. Mrs Bell, Turakina, is visiting New Plymouth and is the guest of her sister, Mrs Doug. Black.

Mrs A. K. Fyson. of Hawera. who has been the guest of Mrs J. Patterson, has returned home.

Mr and Mrs John Lilburn have re turned to Huntcrville from a visit to Wanganui for the Story—Mason wedding.

Miss T. Hanna, who has been visiting her sister. Mrs Leo Campion, “Okerae,” left on Friday on her return to Auckland.

Mrs T, Parata, who has been the guest of Mrs B. Hughes, Marybank, is visiting her sister, Mrs R. M. Baldwin, Turakina Valley. Miss D. McMillan, St. John’s Hill, left oh Saturday for a holiday at Balclutha.

Miss Nonie Story, who hag been visiting Wanganui for the Story—Mason wedding has returned to Invercargill.

Miss Cruickshank returned on Friday from a holiday spent in the South Island.

Dr Fitzgerald of Timaru, and ler 1 husband are the guests of Mrs Alan I Cameron, ‘‘Marangai. ’ ’ Miss S. Richardson has returned tG Wanganui from a visit to Shannon. Mr and Mrs F. N. Andrews, Palmerston North, whu have been the guests of Mr and Mrs R. E. Cuthbertson, returned home yesterday.

CHILDREN’S PARTY A very happy time was spent by the little ones who were invited by Mrs J. McFarlane to her home recently, when she gave a delightful party for her nephews, Trevor Allen and John Winisett, in honour of their birthdays. The children were entertained with games and later, the small guests sat down to a birthday tea, where the table, prettily decorated, v. as laden with good things, the main attraction being the two birthday cakes. After tea all left for their homes, very happy after the merry party.
