SMALLPOX OUTBREAK
THE CHANGTE ARRIVES. CHINESE QUARANTINED. SYDNEY, Sept. 12. The liner Changte has arrived in quarantine. Sixteen of the passengers were released. Most of the Chinese on board are bound for New Zealand or the Islands. They will remain at the quarantine station for the full period of detention.
