SLY-GROG SELLERS
A WOMAN FINED J Per Press Association. J WELLINGTON, May 16 Mellie McLaren Laird, boardinghouse keeper, and a former offender was to-day lined £3O for sly-grog. The quantity of liquor found was small and was purchased apparently as required from an hotel. The excuse was made that it was for boarders, but unfortunately a constable had participated on several occasions, paying for shouts.
