SLY-GROG SELLER
DALMATIONS IN COURT ONE SENT TO GAOL [ Per Press Association. | AUCKLAND, May 16. Following a police raid on sly grog sellers, three Dalmations appeared before Mr Hunt, S.M., in the Police Court charged with selling liquor without a license. One was sent to gaol for two months, a second was fined £5O and a third was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within twelve months. The man who was sent to gaol had been fined £3O in 1928 and £5O last year. He thanked the Magistrate on hearing the sentence.
