Moon (Australia) beat Rogers, 4-6, 2-6, 6-3, 6-2, 1210. At Regent’s Park, Ohta (Japan) beat Mohan (India), 6-2, 7-5, 6-4. Harada (Japan) Leat Charanjiva, 6-3, 6-3, 6-1. U.S.A. AND CANADA NEW YORK, May 15. At Philadelphia the opening singles match between the United States and Canada in the Davis Cup round was stopped by heavy rain with Van Ryn leading Wright 6-2, 6-2, 3-6, 5-2, and deuce. The match will be resumed on Friday.
