WESLEY TEAMS’ MATCH WANGANUI AND WELLINGTON In a match between Wellington and Wanganui Wesley teams at Wanganui on Saturday afternoon the visitors proved victorious by six goals to 2, the visitors proving superior to the local players in every department of the game. Their forward play was marked by fine combination and the goal-shooting was very accurate. On the wing, Butcher showed plenty of speed and usually found the net when he had the chance. The visiting goalkeeper was safe and but two of the many shots that came his way were allowed to go past. It was in the second spell that Wanganui Wesley team brightened up considerably, and they were pressing hotly for a period, but most of the shots went wide. Had it not been for this factor the local team might easily have proved the winners.
