TO TRANSFER LICENSE
REAPPLICATION REFUSED [ Per Press Association.] PALMERSTON N., Dee. 6. The Licensing Committee to-day heard an application by Harry Burrows for the removal of the license of the Post Office Hotel, which was partly destroyed by fire and which was acquired for a new theatre to a site in King Street. The chairman stated that the committee considered the proposed site unsuitable, also that another hotel was not required in the neighbourhood. The application was refused.
