ATTEMPTED MURDER CHARGE
MRS ST. GEORGE IN THE DOCK [ Per Press Association. ] CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 1. As a sequel to the alleged .razor slashing on Sunday night, Ivy Bertha St. George appeared at the Magistrate’s Court this morning, charged with attempting to murder her husband, George Edward St. George. She was remanded to October 10. Counsel made application for bail, but the Magistrate (Mr Levvey) refused, the police stating that the woman would have to be kept under observation.
