RELIGIOUS STRIFE
HINDU AND MOSLEM STREET CLASHES IN BOMBAY Received May 5, 11.30 p.m. [ Australian Press Assn. ] DELHI, May 5. Additional truops were brought to Bombay and there were 300 arrests yesterday. Street clasjjcs continue. The casualty roll is cow nine killed and over 100 injured. A hous3 occupied by a Hindu family was filled with straw and burned to the ground While escaping one of the Mohamedan perpetrators was fatally •tabbed by a party of Hindus.
