A BARGAIN RUSH
CUSTOMERS INJURED AUCKLAND, April 17. In a rush for bargains at the sale of stock damaged by water at John Court’s Drapery, etc., Queen Street, part of a plate glass window was broken, and a few people sustained minor injuries. When the doors opened fully two thousand women surged into the shop. Every precaution thought necessary had been taken. What happened was caused by the crowd suddenly swerving in one particular direction.
