PRIMARY SCHOOLS’ RUGBY
SEVEN-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT DRAW FOR SATURDAY. The annual seven-a-sidc tournament of the Wanganui Primary Schools Rugby Association will be held on the racecourse grounds on Saturday morning next commencing at 9 o’clock. The captains of teams are responsible for having players ready on time and are to report to Messrs IMeLean ami Snaddcn, who wild have charge of play. It has been decided that, any team forcing or kicking into its own deadball ground shall lose one point, thereby minimising the necessity of playing extra time in the event of a draw. The following is the order of play on Saturday:— Seniors. First Round. A. —Wanganui East v. Victoria Avenue, on No. 1 ground. B. —Duric Hill v. Tawhero, on No. 2 ground. C. —Aramoho v. Marists, on No. 3 ground. D. —Castlecliff v. Queen’s Park, on No. 4 ground. E. —G 011 villc, a bye. Second Round. 1. —Gouvillc v. winners of C, on No. 1 ground. 2. —Winners of D v. winners of A, ou No. 2 ground. 3. —Winners oJ B a bye. Third Round. L—Winners of B v. winners of 2 in second round. 2.—inners of 1 in second round a bye. Final.—Bye v. winners of 1 in third round. The final will bo played during an interval in the Rugby Union's seven-a-side tournament in the afternoon. Juniors (under 13 years). First Round. A. —Queen’s Park v. Wanganui East, on No. 1 ground. B. —Castlecliff v. Gonville, on No. 2 ground. C. Marists v. Aramoho, on No. 3 ground. Second hound. 1. —Winner of A v. winner of C. on No. 3 ground. 2. —Winn.er of B, a bye. Third Round. Winner of I above plays 2.
